Introducing The Connected Learning Award Program
Digital skills are essential for full participation in today’s digitally enabled society. It is fundamentally important for employment, education, healthcare, finance, commerce, building community, and more. Digitunity is working to expand digital skills by supporting the introduction and adoption of AT&T’s digital skills resources.
Digitunity is working in collaboration with community-based organizations within its Digital Opportunity Network to offer digital skills workshops in communities that are most affected by the digital divide. The workshops are designed for learners who are new to the basics of computer use. All instructional materials are provided, along with a small stipend to cover or offset the cost of making the workshops more accessible to individuals who otherwise would not be able to attend.

Benefits for Participating Organizations
- 1:1 advising & support for workshop planning & implementation
- Access to all workshop materials, which can be co-branded – slides, supplementary materials such as learner handouts and activities, and learner certificates.
- A small stipend to cover or offset the cost of eliminating barriers to access for learners, such as transportation or child care.
- Digital Opportunity Network Membership which includes ongoing potential to receive donated technology devices for use in your community-based mission work.

Participating organizations and learners will be asked to share their experiences through surveys and a focus group, as well as share resources on their websites and social media.
